Three people have been confirmed dead in an accident which occurred along Kisoga-Nyenga road in Buikwe District.
The accident which occurred on Monday involved a bus, Reg No UAV 701c, belonging to YY Bus Company.
The bus, which was carrying an unknown number of passengers, was coming from Katosi side to Mbale and upon reaching Makindu village, it lost control and overturned.
Hellen Butoto, the Police Spokesperson for Sezibwa region, said that three people have been confirmed dead and 30 injured. She adds that the injured are admitted at Kawolo Hospital, St Francis Lwanga Hospital.
According to Butoto, they are yet to establish the identities of the dead since the bodies were burned beyond recognition. She added that investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing-URN. Give us feedback on this story through our email: kamwokyatimes@gmail.com
