KT Reporter

Nsibambi Yusuf of Mawokota sometime back went to Fred Nyanzi’s home in Kyebando. Nyanzi had just returned to reunite with his family after being missing for several days. He had been kidnapped by armed men at Kubiri.

Nsibambi shopped a lot of groceries and said he had come to welcome back his friend Nyanzi. But Nyanzi on realizing it was Nsibambi he locked himself in his bed room and told his wife to tell Nsibambi he wasn’t around.

Nyanzi knew that Nsibambi wants to put money on the table and go through him to try and reconcile with the NUP top leadership so that he can get Kyagulanyi’s backing for his Mawokota south reelection in 2026.

Nsibambi kept around waiting with his truck full of groceries which he said he wanted to hand over to Nyanzi directly in person. After waiting for many hours, Nsibambi chased himself away and left.

He was unhappy to learn days later that Nyanzi was at home but snubbed him because he is no longer wanted for anything by the top NUP bosses.

He became a hated figure at Kavule when he joined FDC evil money eaters at Katonga to talk ill of NUP. Nsibambi’s bosses at Najjanankumbi condemned Erias Lukwago and Birigwa and even chased them away because they said no to proposals to attack NUP and be at war with Kyagulanyi.

Nsibambi, who badly wants to become MP again and knows he can’t get even 1k votes without Bobi Wine’s backing in Mawokota, now wants to mend fences through Nyanzi. No one at Kavule can risk bringing him near because even in parliament he is one of those who have been undermining Joel Ssenyonyi as LoP.

As such, Kyagulanyi hates him and regrets why he supported him, and not the NUP candidate in Mawokota, in 2021. The other reason why NUP top bosses are done with Nsibambi, who in March avoided Kawempe campaigns for Kalifa Aganaga because he feared direct war with NUP foot soldiers, is because he likes bragging to exaggerate his contribution.

Even when he gives like 500k, Nsibambi is one man who will go bragging on CBS how he is the one funding Kyagulanyi and his people power. In Mawokota Nsibambi is politically a dead man walking because he promised many things to voters which he has not delivered.

He also can’t lie people anymore that he is under Kyagulanyi. Foot soldiers have demanded that he joins NUP and comes on the Kavule ticket which isn’t going to be easy for him because NUP already has a candidate there. Give us feedback on this story through our email: kamwokyatimes@gmail.com
