A bloody war has erupted between Nakangubi Full Figure and Justine Namere yet both are diehard Museveni supporters and carry the title of senior presidential advisor.

Nakangubi Friday night dragged Namere to police of CPS in Kampala where her aggravated robbery complaint was registered and opened against Namere.

Nakangubi says that on Friday evening she arrived at NRM electoral commission offices at Kyadondo where she ended up being tortured and beaten by a group of kanyamas who she says were commanded by Namere.

Full Figure Nakangubi’s case at CPS is Gef-242-2025 and the suspect is Justine Namere plus others still at large and it’s the offence of aggravated robbery. She reported the case after Namere allegedly commanded a group of kanyamas who beat her very badly at NRM head offices and left her thinking she was dead.

Nakangubi was beaten so badly her face got covered in blood after the kanyamas thumped and left her for dead. She was rushed by responders to nearby Nakasero hospital where her wounds were treated to stop the bleeding. As soon as she regained consciousness, she rushed to police to file her GEF case against Namere.

She has refused suggestions by Moses Karangwa for her to forgive Namere who she wants to rot in prison for causing her so much harm. Karangwa had offered to compensate her with millions of shillings for her to forgive but Nakangubi says Namere is unforgivable.

She says she is ready to fight to the bitter end. Nakangubi had spent days promoting her candidate for the CEC position Haruna Kasolo who won and defeated Karangwa.

After losing, Karangwa dismissed the results as fake and his supporters, led by Namere started a war of words against Kasolo, Tanga Odoi who declared him and his supporters like Nakangubi.

Nakangubi had responded by personally attacking Namere on public media. She recorded videos accusing her of duping a young boy, fit to be her son, into marriage. She accused Namere of manipulating Karangwa because she is badly looking for money for campaigns and to also look after her jobless husband.

Nakangubi also accused Namere of hating Kasolo because he remained a minister after Museveni fired her dad Vincent Sempijja.

She also added there Lwengo district chairman Ibrahim Kitata saying he was working with Sempijja and Namere to undermine Kasolo because they are envious of the political favour he enjoys from the president and general Muhoozi Kainerugaba who made him the coordinator for his PLU in greater Masaka.

Even when they are both presidential advisors for Museveni, the two women are prepared to fight to the bitter end because they are both sure that they are right. And in battling Namere, Nakangubi has support of many NRM leaders from the central region and these include Abdul Nadduli, former VPs Bukenya and Sekandi; ONC manager Namyalo, former CEC candidates Kiwanda, Hakim Kyeswa, Sewava Mukasa and others. These think that Karangwa should accept defeat and wait for 2031 as Kasolo prepares to lead the political war against NUP.

A group led by Sewava is preparing to petition the NRM disciplinary committee to disqualify Namere from being the party’s flag bearer for Masaka city woman MP because she is too quarrelsome and unwilling to respect party leaders.

Namere has been abusing Tanga Odoi and other big people in NRM who have accepted Kasolo’s win to become the new NRM chairman for central.

Nakangubi says Kasolo is presentable and a good well-behaved man who is acceptable to the Katikkiro and other Kabaka officials at Mengo, the seat of Buganda kingdom.

She has been thanking Sewava, Kyeswa and Kiwanda for accepting to step down for Kasolo because there was going to be no way for them as Baganda to satisfactorily explain to the Kabaka that his man Kasolo had been defeated by a Karangwa.
