Yusuf Nsibambi Decries Lack of Transparency, Internal Democracy inside FDC Najjanankumbi Which is What Semujju Warned him about last year

Nsibambi the Mawokota South MP was on NBS barometer on Tuesday night and was asked by Adam Kungu and David Kabanda why he hadn’t been seen in Kawempe campaigning for Khalifa Aganaga at all.

Nsibambi who is always a coward fearing a fight with NUP gangs said he stayed away in protest because he wasn’t happy with the way Khalifa Aganaga had been selected to be the FDC flag bearer. This is strange because as the deputy president for Buganda he is supposed to have the last word on who becomes the candidate in his region as opposed to waiting for POA and Nandala.

He said in a party which has internal democracy and transparency, there were supposed to be meetings between top bosses at Najjanankumbi and the grass root structures in Kawempe. “This never happened and I didn’t know of any meeting at the headquarters which discussed this and agreed on that young man to be our candidate,” said Nsibambi who was confused throughout the program after Robinah Nabbanja exposed him for quietly crawling into her office to beg for assistance even when he isn’t NRM.

Nabbanja said Nsibambi went to her and begged for relief items to support victims of hailstorms in his constituency and another time begged for two tractors which came from state house and were taken to Mawokota. But Nabbanja said Nsibambi is a very weak politician who is also poor at supervision which is why the two tractors were hijacked from him by the NUP young man who serves as LC5 chairman for Mpigi district.

Nsibambi also struggled to explain himself why he didn’t go to support his fellow lawyer Nalukoola if he was sure Aganaga was not the best candidate. He could also not properly explain why he didn’t take full charge of FDC candidate selection since Kawempe is in Buganda where he serves as vice president. They also asked him why he was nowhere in Kawempe to welcome his Secretary general Nandala Mafabni who ended up ashamed to see the small crowds Aganaga had in Kawempe.

He was also exposed as a fake news peddler when he claimed that Hadijah Namyalo the ONC boss had been in Kawempe splashing money on people yet the truth of the matter is that Namyalo never stepped anywhere in the Kawempe campaigns even when Faridah Nambi is her personal friend. Nsibambi was overpowered by David Kabanda on this issue and ended up apologizing for telling lies against Namyalo of ONC.

He made it clear there are problems of internal democracy in FDC Najjanankumbi but promised that the situation will be rectified between now and 2026. Nsibambi, who will most likely betray POA and Nandala Mafabi by supporting Bobi Wine because he fears to face NUP fighters in Mawokota, also cursed the NRM party for bringing its big wigs in Kawempe yet they don’t reside or work from there.

And the same shameless old man couldn’t explain when asked to explain why many opposition big men, including his boss Nandala Mafabi, where in Kawempe yet this is not where they live or work from. All in all, Nsibambi looked shaky and unprepared for the serious and facts-based debate that Adam Kungu presided over at NBS for the Tuesday barometer.

This lack of transparency and internal democracy Nsibambi (whose phone calls are no longer picked by POA and Nandala) complained about on NBS is exactly what Semujju Nganda, Salaam Musumba and Erias Lukwago warned him about when they were breaking away to form their own PFF based at Katonga.

He dissed them while calling them poor and bafere actors in Uganda’s politics. These criticisms he has been making on NBS TV and CBS radio about lack of transparency, meetings and corporate governance at Najjanankumbi could cause Nsibambi to become targeted for thorough beating by the militant supporters of Nandala Mafabi who derives pleasure from seeing his internal Najjanankumbi opponents caned inside FDC headquarters. It’s very likely that Nandala’s violent supporters will patientlyt wait for the day elderly Nsibambi turns up at Najjanankumbi and thoroughly give him his food.
