Sections of PLU supporters who Tuesday gathered at PLU chairman’s offices at Nakasero, made use of the large media presence to advise president Museveni’s son-in-law Odrek Rwabwogo to (in their own words) ‘concentrate on eating his bishop’ wife as general Muhoozi Kainerugaba prepares to enter state house as the new president of Uganda.
The supporters named Raabwogo ‘kalya bishop’ and advised him to concentrate on that and leave the business of being president to general Muhoozi Kainerugaba because y’abimala. It means that Muhoozi is the man who finishes and knows how to get done the job of fighting corruption. They said that Muhoozi is the one who is presidential material, and not the elderly Rwabwogo.
The supporters who came from all districts of Uganda, were very excited after MP David Kabanda announced that president Museveni had accepted to get out of state house for his son general Kainerugaba to take charge of the country from 2031 onwards.
Saying he had been sent to announce this by general Kainerugaba after agreeing on it with Museveni, Kabanda revealed that the ‘MK endorsement campaign’ is starting immediately and that the outgoing president will be his chief campaigner in all the 146 districts of Uganda.
Kabanda said they need 19 million signatures of adult Ugandans declaring support for general Kainerugaba. The 19 million signatures will help to show that majority Ugandans prefer the army commander as their president after Museveni.
The supporters mocked Rwabwogo to accept that what he still has is access to the president and not the actual power, which now rests with general MK who fortunately has already given him a new job in his office as the chief of defense forces.
