Musician Patrick Mulwana, alias Alien Skin, is wanted by the police over the death of a former member of the Fangone Forest group.

The victim has been identified as Wilfred Namuwaya, alias ‘Top Dancer. ‘

According to police reports from Katwe Police Division, Namuwaya was picked up from his Ndeeba residence over the weekend by an individual identified as Musomali, linked to Fangone Forest, and taken to the group’s base in Kizungu, Makindye, at night.

A police detective involved in the investigation stated that the deceased’s exit from the group angered the leader.

Before his death, Namuwaya alleged that he was subjected to torture on Alien Skin’s orders. He claimed that Alien Skin’s men picked him up from his home, accusing him of theft, and took him back to Fangone, where he was brutally assaulted.

“They picked me up at my home, claiming that I stole something, and took me back. When they reached there, I was beaten, kicked by several people on orders of Allien, saying Why did I leave the group?” Namuya noted.

One of the doctors, who preferred to remain anonymous, from a clinic in Kizungu, said that they were challenged due to severe internal bleeding, which exceeded their facility’s capabilities. “They brought him in around 11 pm and then abandoned him outside. We tried our best to save his life until morning, when he was referred to Mulago Referral Hospital. The internal bleeding was a critical sign, but unfortunately, he was pronounced dead upon arrival at Mulago.” A doctor said.

Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson Patrick Onyango says that the police are hunting for Alien Skin and several of his team members, including Commander Mdogo, Ibra Kabadiya, and Mijagulo, in connection with the murder of Wilfred Namuwaya, alias “Top Dancer”.

The police investigation is ongoing. ”The group severely assaulted Namuwaya, who was later abandoned in the Mpomba zone in a clinic. The police are working to apprehend the suspects, including Mulwana Patrick, alias Alien Skin.” Onyango said.

According to Police reports at Katwe, Alien Skin and his group have been linked to multiple incidents of violence. Last year, the group assaulted Doctors at Nsambya hospital, where one of their colleagues, Joram Tumwesigye, was rushed after being knocked by a car.

Alien Skin and his group allegedly demanded medical forms from the doctor. They became aggressive when their demands weren’t met and assaulted the doctor and two security guards, leaving three people badly injured.

He was arrested and remanded to Luzira Prison for several months before being granted bail. In the same year, Alien Skin allegedly assaulted Ntale Tonny, a bouncer at Vox Bar in Makindye. The altercation occurred when Ntale asked him and his entourage to follow security procedures.
