Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye who heads NRM office of national chairman Museveni says she knows that those taking people to the basement will soon be coming for her. Namyalo expressed her fears on Monday at the beginning of her news conference at Kyambogo which was streamed live on tik tok.
“I know those basement people want to silence all of us and I know they are going to come for me. It’s okay because no human can avoid prison just like a normal human being can’t avoid producing a child. I know they are coming but my God will protect me,” Namyalo said before the press conference officially started.
Namyalo said this to her assistants and a few journalists who were present. She didn’t know that some of the Tik Talkers were already live and that’s how what was supposed to be private, became public.
Namyalo who in the past made demeaning statements about the PLU standby generator and fears she has never been forgiven by Kainerugaba’s supporters, said she has surrendered her fate to the hands of her creator Allah. She said even those who want to destroy her in the basement are under the same Allah who created everyone.
Namyalo who seemed nervous and scared about what is coming, said from what she is seeing happening in the country, it’s clear that the gods are not happy and more so the spirits of NRA fighters who died fighting with president Museveni in the Luwero bush war.
She said the gods are punishing Uganda by causing a lot of draught, famine and starvation. She said it’s shameful that in some parts of Uganda people are already dying of hunger. Namyalo said she will be organizing Museveni’s 82nd birthday later this month. She will be using her Kyambogo premises for the venue because she said she has become so powerless she can’t access Kololo anymore.
She said regardless of whether Museveni attends or not, they are going to invite all religious leaders for the different groups to come and lead prayers of forgiveness so that the spirits of the fallen bush war warriors can have mercy and forgive Uganda for what has gone wrong.
She said the children and grandchildren of the fallen warriors are struggling and can’t have what to eat and that their money given by Museveni keeps getting stolen. She said whenever she tries to take those victims to the president, she is blocked. “Those people stealing the money say Namyalo is fighting us and is trying to do our work. I’m now powerless. I have nothing to do apart from calling for prayers.’
Saying Museveni is now ‘a sinking and drowning president,’ Namyalo revealed they will be using that day of the birthday to pray for Museveni and call on the spirits of dead NRA and FRONASA fighters to liberate him from the difficult situation that is currently surrounding him.
She didn’t explain or give details of how Museveni is a drowning and sinking president as she described him. Namyalo is always a woman of few words and she isn’t a good talker, which is why she stopped talking and gave Hakim Kyeswa and her other helper to tell journalists more.
For the 2026 elections, Namyalo is the one who led the groups which opposed general Kainerugaba’s presidential ambitions when she came up with ‘Jajja Museveni tova ku main.’ At that time, she was very hostile to the first son and one time declared that it was not African for a child to seek to become heir to a parent who is still alive.
Namyalo is now realizing that her relevancy is going to be reducing every day because whoever has opposed the MK presidency for 2031 has not ended well. Examples include Charles Rwomushana, Odrek Rwabwogo and Milly Babalanda.
Through her own approach, Namyalo had already created many enemies for herself including Babalanda, Jane Barekye and others. She has also quarreled with many people including people in security and intelligence after seeing them as being against her.
