The Most Rev. Dr Stephen Samuel Kaziimba Mugalu, the Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, has concluded his farewell pastoral visits to the Dioceses of Ruwenzori and West Ruwenzori, drawing large congregations of Christians, clergy, and leaders to services of thanksgiving and worship.
The farewell journey culminated in a series of services across the two dioceses. On Saturday, July 25, worshippers gathered at St. Barnabas Cathedral in Bumadu for a thanksgiving service celebrating the Archbishop’s years of faithful ministry. On Sunday, he presided over his final diocesan service at St. John’s Cathedral before concluding the tour with a visit to Bishop Balyam College on Monday.
In his farewell message, Archbishop Kaziimba urged Christians to remain steadfast in their faith, protect Church property, and continue strengthening and supporting church-founded institutions.
