On Sunday, hundreds of Mawokota FC fans gathered for a fundraising function Kabaka’s Mawokota county chief Kayima Sarah Nannono organized at Buwama Saaza grounds. Kayima is raising money to make sure that Mawokota FC performs better and wins the forthcoming Masaza tournament.

At the same function money was raised, Dr. Lawrence Mulindwa of Kitende was declared the patron for Mawokota FC and David Mutono was declared the new Mawokota fc coach from Kyaggwe FC.

There was that part of raising money for the club during which Buganda land board boss Denis Bugaya gave 15m. Area MP Yusuf Nsibambi gave nothing and Susan Nakawuki of NRM gave 1m.

However, Nakawuki’s money was rejected by Mawokota fc fans who kept chanting ‘twagala Bobi ssi Bosco.’

They heckled Nakawuki and declared her contribution of 1m to be evil money, which the Kayima Sarah Nannono was ordered not to receive.

Nakawuki wants to once again run for Mawokota south MP seat on the NRM ticket and there are fears she can win that seat if the opposition doesn’t front someone strong and fresh because Nsibambi has become so unpopular because he is arrogant and is always calling voters poor people.

The voters booed Nsibambi for giving nothing yet they also disliked Nakawuki’s 1m calling it evil money from Museveni’s state house.

Nakawuki who was seated on the front seats, became very sad and wished the ground would swallow her during the weekend fundraising function. Give us feedback on this story through our email: kamwokyatimes@gmail.com
