Joseph Sewava Mukasa, one of the long-serving cadres of the NRM, has declared war on faded TV personality Justine Namere who he wants to be dethroned from being the NRM flag bearer for Masaka city woman MP position. He has petitioned the NRM disciplinary committee to have her punished.

Sewava says that after pocketing 300m, Namere has gone too far abusing party officials in order to revenge the defeat of her new man and funder Moses Karangwa. Namere has been addressing media in Kampala and claiming that Tanga Odoi is a fake man who stole Karangwa’s votes.

Namere hates Haruna Kasolo because she is helping her father Bamulangaki Sempijja to fight a proxy old tired war. Sempijja was unhappy and became envious when he was fired and dropped from cabinet by the president, yet Kasolo remained there serving as a minister.

Sempijja was further annoyed when Muhoozi Kainerugaba made Kasolo his chief PLU regional coordinator for greater Masaka and bypassed him and his very quarrelsome daughter Namere, who is now tying herself on speaker Anita Among hoping she will help her get a government job after losing the Masaka race to Nalubowa of NUP. Namere also thinks Among will give her money for campaigns since she is a broke aging babe.

So, when the chance to fight Kasolo came through Karangwa’s money, Namere embraced it with both hands because she has to fight her dad’s proxy battles. She fears and hates Kasolo on behalf of her father old man Sempijja.

The genuine Masaka voters of NRM are waiting to punish both of them for betraying their area when they campaigned for Karangwa at Kololo. Karangwa was defeated by Kasolo everywhere in greater Masaka except in Kalungu of Sempijja and Masaka city of Namere.

Sewava, who joined Kiwanda and Kyeswa Hakim to step down for Kasolo at Kololo in order to beat Karangwa hands down, now says Namere has to be punished for causing intrigue in NRM after Kololo. Sewava says that because she wants money, Namere is busy misleading Karangwa into putting up useless petitions which will prevent NRM cadres from moving on from the CEC campaign wounds so that they prepare on the anti-NUP battle early enough.

“What she is doing is total intrigue which we can’t tolerate as genuine NRM cadres. We have always been there for this party without being money-minded and Namere is busy abusing big people like the electoral commission chairman yet they don’t have any evidence that Kasolo stole Karangwa’s votes at Kololo. The president was there and everybody else was there. It was in broad day light and there is no way Kasolo could have stolen votes,” Sewava says adding that Karangwa is the one who should be investigated by the tribunal because of the money he kept giving to delegates.

Sewava says that delegates bribery and use of abusive language by Karangwa and Namere destroy NRM and gives the party a very bad image in the public. Give us feedback on this story through our email: kamwokyatimes@gmail.com
