NUP Challenges Lukwago to Present Evidence of Corruption By KCCA Councillors

PPP Party president Saddam Gayira on the weekend was a special guest for Mityana MPs Joyce Bagala and Richard Lumu and in his speech, he revealed secrets to show that NUP had become broke and Bobi Wine had become restless for money.

Having failed to get enough money through fundraising, NUP realized it was going to be hard to fund Kyagulanyi’s campaigns in the whole country to march NRM whose top boss is swimming in cash fundraised locally and from friendly fellow presidents globally.

Gayira says Bobi Wine sent to him a group of people including Senyonyi and Fred Nyanzi. He told the meeting in Mityana that Kyagulanyi was begging him to inform Museveni during the IPOD summit at Kololo that NUP was finally softened and ready to sit with him in IPOD in order to access the money. NUP can’t walk away from such big money because there isn’t much from the diaspora.

Gayira says Kyagulanyi’s men begged him to help push the IPOD bosses to quickly have NUP admitted so that they can access the money and use it in their campaigns. Gayira says that when he failed to get good results, he advised NUP to write their request officially to NRM SG Richard Todwong who heads the council of SGs in IPOD.  This is exactly what NUP did in their letter of 7th October begging to be admitted in IPOD.

It has emerged that the truth is that what was raised in fundraising at Kavule was just peanuts and can’t be enough for even the presidential candidate. The guys of the diaspora give very little yet they like making a lot of noise which Kavule is sick and tired of.

NUP’s brokenness became clear when the party made it clear it was not able to pay even nomination fees for its flag bearers yet for councilors it was just 20k. The party also made it clear they are not able to print posters for its candidates for councilors and other LG positions. The same applies to NUP flag bearers for MP candidates and Kavule bosses are unhappy to see small parties like PPP and Jeema enjoying free cash under IPOD yet for them who are the bigger party are yawning.

Kyagulanyi had to plead with Gayira because the rest of the IPOD presidents are not seeing eye to eye with him for example Asuman Basalirwa, Norbert Mao, Patrick POA Amuriat and Akena of UPC. All these guys hate Kyagulanyi for insulting them all the time while calling them regime agents and it had to only be Gayira to help out.

Gayira says the business of calling people moles and total sellouts simply because they defended Mpuuga should be stopped by all foot soldiers because even Bobi Wine is ready to go to IPOD and be with Museveni yet this doesn’t mean he has been bought to work for the dictator.

‘Let’s be clear that whoever works well with government, it doesn’t mean that person has been bought. I don’t want you to say Bobi Wine is a mole simply because they have asked me to plead with Museveni to bring them to IPOD because NUP is entitled to that money like all of us, ’Gayira told Bagala and Lumu’s rally in Mityana over the weekend.
