Here’s What Kyagulanyi Told Muntu About PFF/ANT Alliance

By KT Reporter

Days before the unveiling of the ANT/PFF alliance at hotel Africana in Kampala, Gen Muntu met with Kyagulanyi and interested him about having NUP coming on board.

Kyagulanyi, who is uneasy about the whole PFF idea fearing to be overshadowed and also fearing that the high transparent standards PFF is setting might incite revolt inside NUP where decision making is personalized, told Muntu he wasn’t prepared to go into such a thing now that his Kavule party clearly has the cards and numbers.

He said that one of the conditions that have to be met before he can even think about it is for the ANT/PFF principals to assure him that Mathias Mpuuga and his DF will never be brought on board.

He said DF is full of his enemies and he isn’t comfortable sitting with them anywhere.

He made it clear that he could only think about coming on board to work with ANT & PFF once he has been assured that DF will never be entertained.

Muntu consulted fellow leaders and it was agreed for now to forget about Kyagulanyi and his NUP for now because some insiders of the ANT/PFF alliance saw his demands as conscripting and unreasonable.

Kyagulanyi also made it clear that he wasn’t prepared to be part of anything which will cause him to be treated as Mathias Mpuuga’s equal. Give us feedback on this story through our email: kamwokyatimes@gmail.com
