After Pledging, NUP MPs Meet & Resolve Not To Give Balance To Kavule Until List Of Flag Bearers Is Out

By KT Reporter

On Tuesday evening about 10 NUP MPs casually met at parliament and agreed to show to Kavule that they are not fools.

Even after pledging and paying a lot of money in campaign contributions, some incumbent NUP MPs are unsure if Kavule will give them back party tickets.

The good thing is that many of them pledged an average of 10m and made part payment on Monday to benefit from the publicity at Kavule.

During their meeting at parliament, the 10 MPs resolved to withhold the balance, many of them paid less than 50% on the publicity day, and only pay full amount after the list of NUP flag bearers is out.

At parliament, the 10 agreed that there is no guarantee that the card is theirs because even their opponents paid almost same amounts of money.

They agreed they will only pay the balance if their name appears on the list of flag bearers in the first week of August.

They are determined to stand as independents and at the meeting it was agreed that the balance can be used to print more campaign materials instead of giving it to Kavule which is full of treacherous men and women. Give us feedback on this story through our email: kamwokyatimes@gmail.com
