Mityana Woman MP Joyce Bagala recently had one on one talks with her mentor Bobi Wine. Having established she was still popular and well possessed with advantages that come with being an incumbent, Bobi Wine wanted to give her one more last chance to choose between him and Mathias Mpuuga.
She told him politely that there was no way she would avail herself to be used to demonize Mpuuga who she maintains is an innocent man who hasn’t done anything written. She told Bobi Wine that the wars between him and Mpuuga were unnecessary and instigated by a senior former Ssuubi MP who was only envious and kept feeding the Principal with false accusations in order to fortify himself at Magere.
Bagala went ahead to inform Bobi Wine that to her, Mpuuga is more than a friend and there is no way she can throw him under the bus. Making it clear she still respects him too as party President and that she doesn’t have any problem with him, Bagala looked Bobi Wine in the eye and said to him: “Being required to turn my back on Owek Mathias Mpuuga is like asking you to dump our NUP First Lady Barbie Itungo.”
After seeing her off, Bobi Wine confided in a few fellow party big men in NUP uniting under an organ called PAT and made it clear that Bagala had spoken candidly and actually left him in a hard situation on how to go about the Mityana Woman MP ticket which has already attracted several babes who want to carry the NUP flag.
