General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the very powerful son of president Museveni has extended an olive branch to his renegade brother-in-law, Odrek Rwabwogo, by naming him his new clerical secretary in his office.
“Mr. Odrek Rwabwogo is officially appointed my secretary,” tweeted the CDF Tuesday morning before following it up with another tweet in which he insisted on the disbandment of PACEID, which Bishop Patience’s husband has been heading.
David Kabanda went on to welcome the development and demanded that the CDF puts Odrek Rwabwogo under his supervision since he is already holding the position of executive assistant to him as the PLU national chairman.
Accepting to become Gen CDF’s personal secretary will amount to Rwabwogo denouncing his own presidential ambitions and recognizing the first son’s political superiority, which is very unlikely. Rwabwogo has so far been demystified by his failure to rescue his own PACEID personal assistant Mathias Bagonza who continues to be imprisoned without being produced before court.
