Kiira Region Police are holding two men suspected of being involved in the killing of an unidentified white man. The suspects are currently detained at Jinja Central Police Station, where they await further inquiries. It is reported that the duo had been residing with the deceased in a fully furnished home in Walukuba West Cell, Southern Division, Jinja.
Juma Karim, the landlord, stated that a group of five individuals rented his house last week for a three-month stay. According to Juma, the group appeared lively at first, but they returned late last night and were overheard arguing persistently over unknown reasons.
Juma claims that the group, which included one man and three women, turned violent against the white man, beating him mercilessly. He suspects that they later strangled him, locked the house, and fled to unknown locations.
At around 10:00 AM, Juma said that one of the individuals returned to the house, opened the door, and shouted for help, claiming that the white man had died by suicide via strangulation. Juma immediately alerted the police, who documented the scene and took the deceased to Jinja Regional Referral Hospital Mortuary for a postmortem examination.

Mubi also mentioned that other suspects are still at large, and detectives have been dispatched to investigate their whereabouts. Additionally, the police are working to identify the deceased and locate his relatives to assist with the ongoing investigation-URN.
