Preliminary investigations point to careless driving by the bus driver as the cause of the accident. Despite clear markings and the fuel tanker being parked off the lane, the bus reportedly veered and collided head-on with the tanker. Both vehicles have since been towed and are parked at Pakwach Central Police Station. Postmortems were conducted on the deceased, and investigations into the incident are ongoing-URN.
