A delegation from the European Union (EU) is in Gulu City for a three-day visit to follow up on ongoing cooperation initiatives between the EU and Uganda in the region. The team, led by the EU Ambassador to Uganda, Jan Sadek, arrived in Gulu on Tuesday. During the visit, the ambassadors have held meetings with key stakeholders, including the Acholi Paramount Chief, Rwot David Onen Acana II, and Gulu District and City officials. The delegation also toured Gulu Regional Referral Hospital and Gulu University to assess EU-supported programs and areas of partnership.
In addition, they met with General Salim Saleh, the Chief Coordinator of Operation Wealth Creation (OWC), at his residence in Gulu City.
