The ministry of education & sports has prepared a list of private secondary schools which risk closure after their registration licenses certificates expired and remained unrenewed.
The list has big schools in all districts of Uganda including big schools like St. Mary’s Kitende, St. Mark’s College Namagooma, St. Lawrence London college and horizon campus plus St. Juliana high school and Merryland High School Entebbe in Wakiso.
From Mukono, the schools include Serona Christian High School, Minister JC Muyingo’s Seeta High A’level campus, excel ss Mukono, Seeta high Kyetume, Mpooma SS and Hilton High School Kyetume. School owners, headteachers and the CAOs are called upon to work around the clock before government begins the operation to close down such schools.
