The latest coming from the political trenches of Mityana district indicates that area woman MP Joyce Bagala Ntwatwa is slated to win and secure re-election come January 15th.
A comprehensive opinion poll conducted by Mboona fm, which is greater Mityana’s most respected radio media station, shows that 45% of the eligible voters in the area are prepared to vote Bagala back to office.
This is so because voters consider her to be mature and accomodative in her leadership approach, and has in the last five years made Mityana great by being an effective legislator, who regulatly talks in parliament and is always there for her people on the ground on the weekends.
The projected winner Joyce Bagala is followed by Joyce Nabakooba in the second position with 30% of the eligible voters preferring her. In the last position is the NUP candidate Proscovia Mukisa Nabosa trailing in the 3rd position with 25%.
Mboona fm is a community-based radio based in Mityana, whose survey findings can’t easily be dismissed because their staff interact with the ordinary voters in the district on a daily basis. Give us feedback on this story through our email: kamwokyatimes@gmail.com.
