Juliet Kakande the Masaka City Woman MP says that Eddie Mitwe, Archileo Kivumbi and others will rot in jail because they beat up journalists in Masaka during the Lwengo burial of Paskali and not because they are victims of intrigue by Mathias Mpuuga.

Kakande told CBS listeners on Monday that the Kyagulanyi group must own up and denounce violence, hooliganism and change their behavior.

She was being asked by the journalist of CBS Yusufu Lukyamuzi to explain why they as Mpuuga camp members were using the journalists case to undermine Kyagulanyi’s group.

Kakande a blue eyed girl of the Mpuuga camp of DA, said the Kyagulanyi group members must accept and learn from their mistakes. She said it’s not Mpuuga or anyone in his camp that told Eddie Mutwe, Archileo Kivumbi and other body guards to beat up journalists who had come to cover the Paskale burial in Lwengo, Bukoto.

Some of the Masaka journalists are now regretting saying they never intended the government or security to use their simple complaint to torture and mistreat Eddie Mutwe and Kivumbi as it has turned out.

Kakande said all that can’t be the problem of the Mpuuga DA camp because they are not part of the state which is prosecuting Eddie Mutwe.

She said that the Kyagulanyi group should begin to have good manners, stop their hooligamism of assaulting people and become normal persons who treat others with respect.

She said that its their bad manners, learned from Kyagulanyi, that explain why the innocent bodyguards are now suffering and rotting in jail. She advised the Kyagulanyi group to own up and go defend their Mutwes in court because scape-goating Mathias Mpuuga won’t help them at all.

She advised other foot soldiers to learn from Eddie Mutwe and Archileo Kivumbi and begin to treat other fellow human beings decently. Give us feedback on this story through our email: kamwokyatimes@gmail.com
