Minister Justin Namere says she is the one who directed minister Balaam to start with Masaka after Elgon zone.

She says Balaam was under pressure to go to Gulu in Acholi and also Luwero as a way of starting on Buganda.

Namere says she forced him to start with Masaka which she represents because she had nothing to hide and wanted to show how accountable she is as a leader.

Namere adds that her political enemies like minister Haruna Kasolo wanted to use the Masaka tour to discredit her but they are going to die in their movie.

She adds that pressure and phone calls from Kasolo started as soon as the Kyotera county MP realized that his diehard supporter Ntale was going to be arrested. She says she stood firm and resisted Kasolo’s phone calls because she isn’t one to be intimidated.

Namere says that people in Kasolo’s camp decided to mobilise groups of poor old women to demonstrate and humiliate her before her boss Balaam and media cameras during the Masaka anti-corruption tour.

She adds that Kasolo’s people have been looking for small scandals to use to destroy her but they have failed to get anything because she doesn’t involve herself in land scandals or small tenders of Masaka city like other area politicians do.

Namere says that she is not going to rest until all dirty politicians in the districts of greater Masaka have been destroyed. She has always been at war with Kasolo, which is now going to only get worse-Give us feedback on this story through our email: kamwokyatimes@gmail.com
