A MESSAGE TO MY BELOVED PEOPLE OF BUSIRO EAST
My dear people of Busiro East,
Assalam Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.
I greet you all with great love and respect. I want to take this moment to speak to you, my voters, my family, my strength.
I know many of you are worried and anxious because of the court cases going on. I hear you, I feel your pain. Today I am asking you from the bottom of my heart to remain calm, remain peaceful, and remain united.
Let us respect the law and let the courts do their work. Please do not engage in any violence or insults. Our victory will come through peace and through justice. I am very confident, and I assure you, In Shaa Allah we are going to win these cases.
This journey has not been easy, but we have stood together.
On a special note, allow me to thank my brother, my great supporter, Hajj Hassan Bulwadda, for the tremendous support he has given me all the way. Hajj Hassan, thank you so much for standing with me, for your generosity and your brotherhood. May Allah bless you abundantly.
