Dr. Diana Atwine, the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Health on Saturday flagged off a dedicated team of surgeons, nurses, anesthetists, and other supporting specialists who will be conducting surgical operations across all districts of West Nile for one week.
This initiative, organized by Association of Surgeons of Uganda (ASOU) officials is expected to benefit over 2,000 patients, reflecting the team’s ongoing commitment to improving access to surgical care. In addition to providing surgical services.
Through the Association of Pathologists, the surgical camp dubbed Restoring Health, it is expected that more people will be reached to create lasting value in the West Nile region. The camp running from 20th to 27th September.
