Andrew Aja Baryayanga former Kabale Municipality member of Parliament has been declared the National Resistance Movement (NRM) party flag bearer.
Baryayanga was declared winner by Barbra Ainebyoona, Kabale District NRM Party registrar with 10245 votes.
Baryayanga’s closest contender, Sheik Kassim Kamugisha (former Wakiso Deputy RDC) got 4132Votes.
Other candidates: Joseph Mutebile polled 288 votes, Michael Turyamureba Byamungu got 1745 Votes while Stephen Byarugaba trailed with 532 Votes.
