Having realized there is a lot of fraud and dictatorship, ex-Kampala woman MP Nabillah Nagayi says she wasn’t prepared to waste her time seeking the NUP ticket as she prepares to run for Kampala lord mayoral seat on independent platform.

The former Kampala woman MP, who is also a close friend to Museveni admirer Prof Venescias Baryamureeba of Makerere, says that just like FDC which she cursed and left, NUP is also full of selfish politicians who aren’t prepared to act fairly.
That they don’t like to serve the people but their own interests.

Nabillah, who recently returned to Uganda from Canada and was in 2021 defeated by Erias Lukwago even when she had the NUP ticket, says she will be using the campaign period to explain to the people of Kampala how all oposition political parties, including NUP, are full of treacherous actors who don’t have people’s interests at heart.

She will be facing off with Norbert Mao’s wife Beatrice Kayanja, NUP’s Ronald Balimwezo Nsubuga and incumbent Erias Lukwago etc. Nabillah says she is confident she will win because the people of Kampala have been used enough and are now tired of candidates from opposition political parties.

Nabillah will have to explain herself on personal scandals including infidelty claims which saw her dump her husband and father of children Isaac Sempala whose family members based in Kisaasi will be ready to decampaign her because, to them, she is a terrible woman who almost caused their brother Isaac to die of stress over his Kajjansi Nakigalala land. Give us feedback on this story through our email: kamwokyatimes@gmail.com
