President Museveni has finally found something to officially occupy long serving NRM cadre Joseph Mukasa Sewava. He has been appointed the special envoy of the president in charge of Buganda affairs.
Sewava who used to be the executive secretary to general David Sejusa, has been around mobilising support for the NRM government and the president for a very long time. He was serving as a volunteer since his relationship with Sejusa ended.
Now Museveni has made him the special envoy for Buganda affairs and its expected that permanent youth Sewava, who is being rewarded for stepping down for Haruna Kasolo to defeat Moses Karangwa in September, will be able to use his youthful energy to move NRM popularity in Buganda to very high levels.
Sewava is going to fill the vacuum which had been created by old man Oweek Robert Sebunya Kasule’s failure to re-energize NRM support in Buganda in his capacity as the senior presidential advisor in charge of Buganda.
But Sewaava’s new post will be very bad news for ONC boss Hadijah Namyalo of Kyambogo who hates him and the two have for years been fighting each other.
Namyalo hated him when Sewava came up with sonething called Museveni tova ku ballot instead of hoining Museveni tova ku main campaign.

Namyalo won’t be happy to see Sewava getting such a good position that is bigger and more powerful than hers.Give us feedback on this story through our email: kamwokyatimes@gmail.com
