Police at Kampala CPS has been asked to hunt down and lock up Masaka woman MP candidate Justine Namere of the NRM. The request has been made by Jenifer Nakangubi Full Figure who says she was attacked and robbed of her belongings at NRM electoral commission offices in Kampala late Friday evening by a group of kanyamas who she says were commended by Namere.

Figure says that she was called by Moses Karangwa, Namere’s political patron and campaign funder, who asked her to come there for a meeting with Tanga Odoi.

She has explained to police that on arrival, she was welcomed by a group of kanyamas who dragged her in a darker corner where they thumped her like a chicken thief. She says she was tortured for several minutes and she wailed while crying for help until when she couldn’t cry anymore.

Full Figure Nakangubi’s case at CPS is Gef/242/2025 and the suspect is Justine Namere and it’s the offence of aggravated robbery. She filed it after Namere allegedly commanded a group of kanyamas who beat her very badly at NRM head offices and left her thinking she was dead.

Nakangubi says she will not rest until Namere is hunted down by police and sent to the coolers in Luzira for subjecting her to so much torture. The two presidential advisors had been quarreling days earlier because they supported rival candidates for the CEC race at Kololo.

KMP police publicist says that they will now proceed to summon Namere, Moses Karangwa and others mentioned in the complainant’s statement to interrogate them as they seek to establish the motive behind the assassination attempt on Full Figure.
