A few days ago, Ofwono Opondo criticized ex-minister Musa Ecweru for coming out to promote CDF general Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s talking points showing that Afande Peter Elwelu was indeed a bad man who deserved severe punishment.
Opondo accused Ecweru of being a fortune seeker trying to catch the CDF’s eye. Then days after, Soroti West MP Calvin Echodu who is also a CEC member, came out to demand justice for Elwelu and was later on supported by Dr. Kenneth Omona, the former PPS to the president.
Gen Kainerugaba, who Opondo says has a personal vandeta against Elwelu as a person, on Thursday came out and sided with Ecweru who he praised for being a courageous leader who will soon be rewarded for his loyalty to the revolution.
The CDF said Ecweru is a very good man who he has known since the days arrow boy operations in the year 2003.
