Three people have been killed in a road crash in Nyapolo Village, AlwI Sub County, along Pakwach Arua Highway.
The vehicles involved were a UBF850H Toyota Double cabin white in colour, belonging to Muni University, being driven by Kennedy Acidri, who died on the spot and a UAW 523Z SINO Truck belonging to China 18TH Railway Construction Company, driven by a yet to be identified driver.
Other deceased passengers who were travelling in the double cabin have been identified as Washington Opio, Sports officer of Muni University and Rev. Patrick Acema, the Chaplain of Muni University.
Jimmy Anguyo, the Police Spokesperson for West Nile, said that the other two occupants of the double cabin, identified as Oriba Bruno and Enayo Victor, who survived, were first rushed to Pakwach Health Centre four but later transferred to Lacor Hospital in Gulu for further Medical attention.
Anguyo says that the police have yet to establish the cause of the accident.
