In the aftermath of the kidnap and abduction of Mzee Moses Kibalama Nkonge last weekend, several Kampala bloggers, Tik Tokers and YouTube content creators have come together to isolate, fight and destroy controversial fake news peddler Dean Lubowa Saava.
These include Kwezi Robinson of Kwezi Media group, Moses Wamala of Uganda Eyenkya, content creator Gideon Tugume, Mathias Ssekanjako of MS media, Gerald Katumba who says the TV10 Mazima proprietor defrauded him and a one Kagoro who describes Saava now as Uganda’s most hated and treacherous media personality.
Kagoro worked with Saava at Bulange-based CBS where he worked before joining NTV at Serena hotel from where he was fired over extortionist concerns.
Kagoro says that no one will ever trust or relate with Saava on any serious business because of his treacherous ways of always recording people’s phone calls and conversations.
Kagoro has released the long list of people Saava has betrayed including Kabaka’s officials at Bulange. Kagoro says these people helped to lift Saava from the dust yet he turned to destroy them by telling lies about them on his TV10 YouTube and TikTok channels.
Saava has insulted the Katikkiro and other kingdom officials by branding them thieves without producing any evidence of what they have stolen. Kagoro says it wouldn’t have been Saava to destroy the officials of the kingdom which gave him a chance at the time many of his current sponsors would not dare touch him with a long stick. He has also listed young men Saava employed and fired without paying them even a penny for their months’ work.
He says it was him who came up with the name TV10 and was the brand consultant for Saava yet he was never paid anything. He predicts that Saava is going to end very badly because of the many people he has destroyed through his treacherous ways.
He also says that Saava is a sexpest and social climber who likes to deceptively claim closeness to big people like general Nalweyiso yet in actual sense such big people have no serious dealings with him. He has also talked about the girls and people’s children Saava has used and dumped at his TV10 offices.
Moses Wamala says that Saava is a very bad man who he helped to popularise his TV10 channels yet he paid him back by writing to YouTube headquarters asking them to delete his channel. He too has a long list of names of people’s children Saava exploited, used and fired without paying them even a penny.
Gerald Katumba who worked with Saava for long at TV10 says that Saava is an exploiter of people’s labor. He adds that he is full of curses and will die alone when all people have left him because he is only about money and women and doesn’t keep friends.
He also says that Saava is the gun for hire and not out to genuinely fight corruption because he only fights those who refuse to give him money to buy his silence. Katumba talks about the Ugx300k which Mathias Mpuuga gave to Saava through Joyce Bagala and Medard Segona. He also says that Saava made a budget demanding for Ugx1.5bn from Anita Among as facilitation for him to destroy Bobi Wine and NUP within 6 months.
Katumba says there is no way Saava, who can’t even pay workers, can afford to pay Mzee Kibalama’s medical and hotel bills for 8 months as he is now claiming. He says that Saava was just trying to use Kibalama to extort money from Anita Among and general Salim Saleh.
The trio of Wamala, Kagoro and Katumba say that Saava is the type who can even fund the killing of fellow journalists in order to make money. Wamala claims he knows people Saava one time considered bumping off using criminal gangs operating on Kampala streets. Adding that Saava was a very good friend of Sobi.
Kwezi’s role was giving a platform to Mzee Kibalama and his assistants Ssimbwa Kagombe and Tugume to be able to tell their story exposing Saava’s treacherous conduct and how he connived with the SFC captain to kidnap Kibalama and take him to Magere to sign the fake consent agreement infront of Bobi Wine, Nubian Li and Rubongoya.
Mzee Kibalama says he regrets ever relating with Saava because he is a very ambusive young man who is full of treachery. Saava claims to have spent hundreds of millions of shillings treating Kibalama to remove the bad clot which was going to kill him, something the old man says is a fabrication and totally untrue.
The Kibalama group members are insisting that Saava connived with the SFC captain, who he kept deceiving them that he was a medical doctor sent by state house, to deliver Kibalama to Bobi Wine in return for unspecfied sums of cash from Rubongoya.
Saava has responded by abusing Kibalama,Tugume and Kagombe as smelly sickly old men who are like pauppers. He says that he regrets helping out to connect them to general Nalweyiso and Mike Mukula.
The fellow bloggers have rejected this claim making it clear that Saava is personally too broke to be able to help Mzee Kibalama. Katumba says how can someone fail or refuse to look after his wife and mother and at the same time be able to bail out Kibalama, a stranger.
Saava has reacted by abusing Kwezi who he says is a failure in life and too old to be a blogger. Kwezi has kept quiet and ignored Saava who social media users say has no moral authority to accuse Kwezi of failing to get his comment since he has been parading fake stories about many big people in the country without ever bothering to get their comment and side of the story.
Saava has also been trying to destroy and scandalize SFC and CDF general Muhoozi’s office by secretly recording Capt Noah Mugerwa. In all this he is using his TV10 maxima channel which UCC wants to close down over illegal broadcasting operations.
Saava has been abusing UCC officials and making it clear he will never register to get their license because the commission is full of very fake people.
Saava has vowed to destroy SFC and the CDF’s office by exposing scandals of individuals officers working there, unless the CDF accepts to fire Capt Noah Mugerwa who recently told the world that Saava wasn’t as important, powerful as he keeps claiming.
Saava says that Capt Mugerwa, who he says works in SFC and is attached to CDF’s office, is a conman who must be fired and arrested or else he begins revealing to the public all the scandals such soldiers have been involved in using the name of the CDF and SFC.
Saava who used to claim to have a lot of connections inside the security system has now been isolated which is why he is threatening to spill dirty secrets of security officers whom he says are attached to CDF and SFC. He says Mugerwa is the example of such.
Mugerwa has made it clear he will deal with Saava properly if he doesn’t shut up and stop spoiling his name as a powerful soldier.
In what has angered many people in security to the point of pressurizing generals Salim Saleh, Nalweyiso and others to come out and distance themselves from him, because he is a very treacherous amatuer man, Saava has been releasing recordings of phone calls and other private conversations he has been having with Captain Kagoro and other regime insiders.
This has angered many security operatives who are now advising top officials like Saleh and Nalweyiso to keep away and stop protecting Saava from being reprimanded by people whose names he has been destroying while claiming to have been deployed by the president to fight corruption in government.
