A number of Ugandans have taken to social media to commend the president of Uganda for rebuking Moses Karangwa over land grabbing allegations in Kayunga and other parts of Uganda.

Last week as CEC contestants were being vetted, the president openly told Karangwa about complaints his office has been receiving from land grabbing victims in Kayunga, all of them implicating Karangwa who is struggling to get elected for the pisition of NRM vice chair for central region. He is competing with Godfrey Kiwanda, Haruna Kasolo and others.

Museveni thanked Kayunga woman MP Idah Nantaba for always reporting to him Karangwa’s involvement in such fracas. Museveni also informed Karangwa that beyond Nantaba, his office had recently been approached with a fresh petition which he said was going to be thoroughly investigated by his powerful assistant general Proscovia Nalweyiso.

Now Ugandans, after reading the story have given comments thanking the president for finally getting involved at the level of state house because Karangwa has grown into something big so much that police, the RDC’s office and other agencies can’t manage to handle on their own anymore.
