A few days ago, Nambooze the quarrelsome MP from Mukono attacked PWDs MP Mpindi Bumali and said he was one of the most insignificant members in the 11th parliament because he is too timid and doesn’t talk in the house.
She said Mpindi, who she envies because he is always on CBS radio from which the Katikkiro chased her because she has bad manners, isn’t even known however much he keeps coming to CBS to criticise NUP.
Mpindi responded the following day and made it clear that Nambooze is a no body. He said she is a spent force who has failed to read the writing on the wall and go home to play with her grand children.
Mpindi said Nambooze is a miserable loser who likes to tell lies about fellow MPs. He said he is the one who talks in parliament and Nambooze is the one who never talks in the house.
He said Nambooze doesn’t attend committee meetings, doesn’t attend plenary and even when she attends, she is as quiet as a graveyard and only opens her mouth when its lunch time or to eat sumbusas and sauces of parliament.
The PWDs MP was defended by Abed Bwanika of NUP who said that Mpindi is one of the most outspoken MPs unlike Nambooze who dodges parliament and only goes to talk on TV and press conferences and public functions at Kavule to appease Kyagulanyi and foot soldiers.
The truth of the matter is that Nambooze lied because Mpindi talks too much in plenary and committees and he is also good at giving media interviews which is all Lutamaguzi Ssemakula of NUP/DP does.
Bwanika said Nambooze even was given a committee of parliament to chair and failed miserably. Even as shadow minister she hasn’t done well, added Mpindi.
Mpindi said Nambooze is a spent force in the politics of Uganda, Buganda and Mukono where she comes from.
He said she has become so wasted to the extent that without the NUP excitement, she can end last in any political race in Mukono.
Mpindi said because she reached her political menopause stage long time ago, Nambooze in Mukono is less competitive and voters prefer new kids on the block because they are the ones who have vibe.
He equated Nambooze to the mic ya zigidi song which had its own time in the early 2000s and these days a DJ would be declared mad if he played it at a wedding.
Mpindi mentioned Anifa Nabukeera, Fred Kayondo and Abdullah Kiwanuka as some of the new kids on the block in Mukono where Nambooze undermines them because she is an old politician who is full of nugu and envy. He said Nambooze is past her sale-by date and she is now a liability to parliament.
He spoke about the hundreds of millions of money which parliament spent on treating her abroad for a strange medical condition which Mpindi thanked Abed Bwanika for investigating.
