Joyce Bagala has refused to apologize to NUP under the ultimatum she was given recently. She says there is nothing for her to apologize for because it’s them who have wronged her and not the other way round.
She says she wasn’t weak at first as was stated by deputy president Muwanga Kivumbi because she was always there in the opposition even before NUP was formed. She deserves more respect than Kyagulanyi has accorded her.
Joyce Bagala wants Kyagulanyi to humble himself and borrow a leaf from Besigye who led with humility and struggled to keep the opposition forces united for more than 20 years.
She says Besigye was also betrayed and always disagreed with fellow leaders in opposition on the best strategy but he never declared war on anyone the way Kyagulanyi did on Mpuuga using foot soldiers like Lumbuye.
