Frank Mulekwa, the NRM media activist has cursed NBS tv for failing to block Bobi Wine’s barking dog Alex Waisswa Mufumbiro from humiliating minister Balaam on live tv show during the Tuesday Barometer programme. Mulekwa took to social media and complained as follows;
FULL STORY:
On NBS’ Barometer program, many viewers were unhappy with the Moderator Zambali Mukasa for not reprimanding Mufumbiro’s derogatory and disrespectful language against Honorable Minister Balaam on live TV. However, me, I see it differently.
In my opinion, these guys’ publicly displayed rotten manners are a blessing in disguise. Although it may be bad education for our children and society, we can still use it to our advantage.
Their behavior is why people do not trust them with national power. Such arrogance may appeal to a small section in Kampala here, but it is not helpful for a party seeking change. In areas like Western, Northern, and among a bigger section of people in the Central Region, respect is highly valued.
One wonders how someone so arrogant and disrespectful like that expects to lead a country. If voted into power, how would they treat us, our traditional leaders like the Kabaka in this case and children? Look at the NUP’s composition.
Apart from people who defected from DP to NUP, compare other NUP MPs to those from the North, Western, and other regions. Take Zaake, Paul Nsubuga, and others as examples. Mufumbiro is not alone; he is a typical reflection of the bigger section of NUP members, who are majority obscenely abusive and rotten mannered.
People have tasted their manners and will not be swayed by the excitement wave as it was in the last general elections. Only a few areas, like Kampala and parts of Central like Wakiso District might support them back, but areas valuing quality leadership will this time round vote differently.
I therefore urge you to let them expose their rotten manners the more and thank God for giving you such an opponent, people will never trust with power. Their rotten manners disguisingly ensures the NRM’s longevity in power. Frank Mulekwa is a media activist for NRM. Give us feedback on this story through our email: kamwokyatimes@gmail.com
