Thanks for your lovely message. It’s unfortunate you were not given at least one Sitting to say goodbye to the MPs you have served and interacted with for 5 years. The Selfishness on the part of the Boss could be seen by even a child. I usually call a Spade a Spade!!
To those who have not made it to the 12th Parliament, they missed your last verbal communication. Nonetheless you have put it in writing. As a former Colleague at Makerere University I don’t doubt the way you have steered the house with competence.
I have enjoyed your sittings more and every time you are in that Chair, I know I am in the right hands. I will never forget the day you handled a situation when one of us barked at you in the house. The way you played it cool amazed many of us. I wondered what type of material you are made of For the 5 years we have been together I have not seen you bark at members.
You have tried to be polite, tolerant and professional. I wish to assure you my total support in case you become our Deputy Speaker. I can actually attend your professional sessions alone and survive. I can’t tolerate mediocracy anymore by someone who gambles with Parliamentary rules and procedures.
I have had enough in the 11th Parliament. Looking forward to Work with you in the 12th Parliament. Thanks again for your humility, tolerance, Professional way of handling Parliamentary issues. Give us feedback on this story through our email: kamwokyatimes@gmail.com
