The Gulu City October Festival has entered its fourth day, with exhibitors showcasing a wide range of products.
The week-long event, which kicked off on Monday with a city marathon, is scheduled to conclude on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, and is expected to attract more than 35,000 participants from across Uganda and beyond.
Held under the theme “Celebrating Cultural Heritage in the Context of Acholi Cultures,” the inaugural October Festival seeks to promote unity, celebrate Uganda’s diverse cultural heritage, and boost tourism across the country’s growing urban centers.
The festival features a multicultural exhibition, performances by traditional and contemporary artists, and a variety of local cuisine, crafts, and innovations from northern Uganda. As festivities continue, Uganda Radio Network brings you the story in pictures as Gulu City comes alive with color, culture, and celebration.
