A 40-year-old man who has been struck by lightning in Nakapiripirit district.
The incident happened on Thursday in New Line Village, Mourita Sub-county, during a rainstorm. The deceased, Lokinei Ayanget, was living with a friend in a grass-thatched house when the incident happened.
Mike Longole, the Mt Moroto police spokesperson, said that it is still unclear how the lightning struck the patient and spared the friend with whom he was sharing a house.
