Foot Soldiers Want Fred Nyanzi Punished for Eating Dream food

Foot soldiers who do restaurant business in Wandegeya market, Katanga and nearby places have petitioned the NUP head offices at Kavule asking Bobi Wine not to give the MP flag to his brother Fred Nyanzi.

They are saying that Nyanzi isn’t a good man because each time he goes to Wandegeya with a large group of his assistants for lunch, breakfast and supper, he spends all his money at Dream restaurant which is owned and operated by a woman called Namubiru who is a supporter of NRM.

Namubiru is a big cadre of the NRM and even competes with Salim Uhuru to supply food at NRM big functions at Kololo including this year’s national delegates conference of the party. Her restaurant is big and one of the most known in Wandegeya. It’s where big people in government and NRM including ministers, MPs and security operatives have their meals.

They also hire Namubiru to do outside catering and she also delivers meals to government offices. This is where Nyanzi also eats from with many other NUP leaders who foot soldiers say are all influenced by him instead of supporting their small restaurants in Wandegeya, the market and Katanga.

Wandegeya is one of the major townships in Kawempe south where Nyanzi wants to become the new MP replacing Kazibwe Bashir. Foot soldiers say they won’t campaign for him if he doesn’t stop pampering dream restaurant which is owned by the NRM lady Namubiru.  Give us feedback on this story through our email: kamwokyatimes@gmail.com
