The Rt. Hon. Speaker of Parliament and NRM Second National Vice Chairperson (Female), Anita Annet Among, has continued addressing large crowds in Busoga with the Buyende rally being the latest.
Her motive is to warm the ground very well before Museveni comes to campaign in Busoga sub-region.
Museveni will be campaigning in Busoga very soon and team Mulamu members want to make sure that Museveni’s rallies are bigger than Kyagulanyi who Anita Among is determined to uproot from the hearts of the young people of Busoga.
At the Buyende rally, the Speaker sensitized community members on the various wealth creation initiatives spearheaded by the NRM Government, urging residents to actively embrace them in order to realize the national vision of making a qualitative leap into upper middle-income status.
Rt. Hon. Among commended President Museveni for his steadfast and visionary leadership, which has enabled Uganda to transition from instability to sustained peace and economic progress.
She called upon the people of Busoga to rally firmly behind Museveni’s candidature and consolidate the gains achieved under the NRM’s transformative leadership.
Among has also called for unity and asked her Basoga in-laws to forget about the quarrels they had in different camps during CEC elections last month. All she wants to see now is everyone calling themselves ‘team Museveni, team NRM.’
She has repeatedly called for an end to politics of intrigue and rumor-mongering because it can only weaken NRM and candidate Museveni by reducing on the votes.
