Hundreds of families have been displaced by flash floods arising from the heavy rains and increasing water levels of River Moroto in Alebtong District.
Since Saturday night, three Sub-Counties of Adwir, Aloi, and Omoro have experienced widespread destruction with houses swept away, many others partially submerged, and crop gardens all submerged in the water.
Public amenities like boreholes, health centers and schools on the verge of collapsing while pit latrines and filled- up with underground waters.
